We advise you to use Ceylon tea if it is not indicated otherwise in recipes that use black tea. It is the one with the most neutral flavor, and its little character will be enhanced with the rest of the ingredients.

COLD TEA
Ingredients: black tea, sugar to taste.
Preparation: Make a tea twice as strong as usual and add the desired sugar. When serving, fill each glass with equal parts tea and ice cubes. You can add a few drops of lemon. If you want to prepare cold tea for the whole day, make a tea four times stronger than usual (four teaspoons per cup); once prepared add another amount of cold water and the desired sugar. Store in the refrigerator, and at the time of serving fill each glass with the tea and the cubes in equal parts. Do not keep overnight.

TEA WITH LEMON
IIngredients: black tea, a lemon wedge.
Preparation: Make a tea a little less strong than usual and leave to infuse together with the lemon. Add sugar to taste.

COLD GREEN TEA WITH LEMON
Ingredients: gunpowder green tea, juice of half a lemon.
Preparation: Make a green tea twice as strong as usual (one teaspoon per person) and infuse for three minutes. In a separate jar, add sugar, ice, and the juice of half a lemon for every two cups. Once the infusion is done, pour the tea into the prepared jug and shake until the ice is dissolved. At the time of serving, fill each glass with tea and ice in equal parts.

TEA WITH SALVIA
Ingredients: black tea, a pinch of sage per cup.
Preparation:: Make a tea a little less strong than usual and leave to infuse together with the sage. Add sugar to taste.
TEA WITH MINT
Ingredients: black tea, a pinch of mint per cup.

SYMPHONY COCKTAIL
Ingredients: half a liter of cold black tea (see the first recipe), 2 glasses of orange liqueur, a few drops of angostura, 2 heaped tablespoons of sugar, 4 cherries, ice cubes.
Preparation: Mix tea, sugar, orange liqueur and angostura drops in a cocktail shaker. Serve with ice cubes and a cherry in the bottom of the glass.

BITTER CUP
Ingredients: half a liter of cold black tea (see the first recipe), the juice of 2 grapefruits, the skin of half a grapefruit cut into strips, 150 g of sugar, 1 glass of gin, ice cubes.
Preparation: Mix the tea, sugar, grapefruit juice and gin, and stir until sugar is dissolved. Serve in tall glasses with ice cubes and a few strips of grapefruit skin.

HAWAIIAN PONCH
Ingredients: half a liter of water, 3 heaping teaspoons of black tea, 3 cups of pineapple juice, 1 lemon, half a cup of sugar syrup, half a cup of chopped strawberries, 1 banana.
Preparation: Make a strong tea with the boiling water, brew for about 8 minutes, filter and let cool. When it is cold, mix with the pineapple juice and put it in a punch bowl; then add the sliced ​​lemon and the sugar syrup, the latter made with 1/2 cup of water and 4 tablespoons of sugar. Peel the banana, cut it into slices, wash and cut the strawberries and add the fruits to the punch. Serve very cold.
